    A graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Martin Margiela founded the eponymous brand in 1988. The Parisian debut in 1989 marked a new era consecrating Martin Margiela as spokesperson for the avant-garde wave that marked Belgian fashion. The Tabi boots are inspired by Japanese history and aesthetic.
