Tabi Mary Jane Leather Shoes with Heel

A graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Martin Margiela founded the eponymous brand in 1988. The Parisian debut in 1989 marked a new era consecrating Martin Margiela as spokesperson for the avant-garde wave that marked Belgian fashion. The Tabi Mary Jane shoes are inspired by Japanese history and aesthetic. The Tabi is now an iconic shoe of the brand: these shoes stands out for the peculiarity of having the thumb divided from the rest of the toes: these shoes are made of smooth leather with a painted effect.
